We have a number of roommates that spend time in our space, most notably the fellow(?) pictured below, El Gecko. We also share with an assortment of centipedes and at any given moment enough food (i.e., insects) to keep El Gecko satisfied. After my experience of being woken up by a 4 inch long centipede falling from my bed net onto my face (ummm... startling), we now have an evening ritual of checking the bed nets to make sure we at least start the night without unauthorized companions, as well as looking under the top sheet before sliding into bed.
